Poop Issues with Toddler

Question

Hello again,

Soo update on my daughter and N75. We started a week ago and she has had ZERO pee or poop accidents for the first 3 days (she was tearful during her first poop in the potty) she was naked on bottom. As soon as I put panties on her she started pooping in her pants and hasn’t stopped. She is very verbal and totally capable of understanding what the expectations are but I feel like she has “chosen” to poop her pants for some reason (fear of potty, embarrassment, privacy?) and it’s hard to know what to do now. I feel like by staying calm and positive with her pooping isn’t going to teach her to change her behavior unless there is some kind of discipline or negative experience. She doesn’t care that she has to clean it up with me, in fact she seems excited to help.

Should I call the doctor and try something like cold showers if she poops herself? Or rewards for poop in the toilet? I just feel like if there isn’t some kind of negative response to her behavior she will be content pooping in her pants for months.

Help please!
