Question
My son is 13. He is in 8th grade. The school he is attending goes on an intercession trip once a year. We did not allow him to go last year because of immaturity and he has stomach issues and has to eat certain foods and take medicine. There are no chaperones in the room with them. There are 3 boys to a room and the teachers stay in their own room. Each grade goes on a trip to visit historical sights in other states. They could fly or they might travel by bus. When they are older the travel abroad. I’m really hesitant about him going at this age with no supervision in the hotel rooms. And his dietary needs. What are your thoughts on this type of trip?
