Question
This is the scinerao...we are sitting at the dinner table. My husband is reading "whatever the latest news is" on his phone. When our 6 yr. talks back to me or does not do what I have asked of him, my husband does not intervene because he is usually not paying attention. I want my husband to step in and back me up, but if I complain to my husband he says I am a strong leader and should handle the situation on my own without his involvement. I get upset because he has not heard a word of what just transpired under his nose. Needless to say we are at odds on how to handle this kind of situation or how to discipline our child. Your advice please.
