Should I stop by 18 year old from dating a guy who is verbally abusive to her? My daughter listens to all the red flags about this boy and agrees. Yet she says she needs time to end it. After hearing he called her disrespectful and inappropriate names and also started a rage while she was driving a vehicle which could have led to a dangerous outcome she continues.Even after explaining this is not a healthy relationship and firmly telling us she will end it on her time I have my doubts. Shes been seeing him a year and it is getting worse. the next day after insults she was hanging with him again. As a parent I feel obligated to stop it before something more serious happens. His dad has a domestic violence record. What can I do?
