N75 Newbie

Question

I started N-75 with my 18 month old daughter yesterday and am looking for a few encouraging words and advice. Day 1 was all accidents which I expected. When we told her about the change to a potty using the 4 c's, she said "no". After every accident, she was told to help me clean up (which she does) and next time, her pee and poop go in the potty to which she said "no". On day 2, I caught a glimpse of her sitting on the potty for half a second then getting up (no voiding) then all accidents since. I have her in dresses which and am thinking that the length may be hindering her. I'm afraid to put her in just a shirt because she is a girl and am worried about cleanliness and her curiosity. She is very stubborn and a few times after accidents I placed her on the potty to see if any more comes and she gets very upset making it impossible to keep her there. I'm not sure that I should be doing that in the first place. Is that the right thing to do? I picked the month of June as the perfect time as we have no plans for travel until early July and I didn't want to wait until September to start. I'm hoping I made the right choice.
