Question
We have been working to potty train our 3 1/2 year old son for a week now, since last monday. He seemed to be getting better by Thursday. He would be a little in his underwear, but hold it, and then go within a minute or so after you told him to sit on the potty. Friday things got worse. He's peeing when and where he wants now.
We've kept him in underwear, but we are arguing about giving up and going pull-ups. I fear that would set us back severely. If he wins this round, he will be more determined to hold out next time.
My wife believes he might have minor autism, and wonders if there is any special training he would need.
