Question
I previously asked the question that when I leave an outing with my two and a half year old daughter, how to better manage her tantrums. She pinches, kicks and screams. I've been following the advice given, but want to know if using distraction upon leaving would be most beneficial for a temperamental, impulsive toddler who lacks self control, or would distraction be bribery to some degree? For. ex. if I give her a picture book. The reason I ask this is that the tantrum makes it very difficult for me to get her into her car seat, even when I anticipate she is about to lose control. Thanks.
