Question
We have been reading to our 14 month old daughter since 2 months of age. She has a bookshelf full of board books that she likes to flip through during the day and prefers them to toys. Our bedtime routine has always consisted of 4 or 5 short board books (Dr. Seuss). Lately though, books at bedtime rev her up and even agitate her. She is not interested in being read to and just wants to flip through book after book in rapid fashion. We have decided it is best to cut out books at bedtime and replace with prayers and a lullaby. Are we on the right track with our plan?
