Question

My 17 month old daughter sometimes doesn’t let my husband hold her and last night when I was snuggling her on the couch and my husband laid down next to me she started trying to hit him and push him away and started crying whenever he would sit close to us. She loves playing with him and she asks about daddy all day, but if she’s in a fussy mood she will only go to me or my mom. I don’t want this problem to escalate and I don’t want her to think we are just giving into her. A lot of times if I am busy, I pass her off to him and she cries for a min until he is able to distract her, should I continue doing this? I have to admit, sometimes if she resists I just give up and continue holding her but this might be bad to do. I’m not sure what we should do if she reacts violently next time. Thanks!
