Question
Our son who will be 3 in January is very outgoing and social when he's in preschool but becomes very hesitant when we go into new settings (birthday parties or soccer for example) and will refuse to join the group in their activity. He occasionally warms up toward the end but never wants to join the group. Is it best to just allow him to stand back and not force it?
