Teen Proofing with Cell Phones

I am currently reading John's book Teen Proofing. In chapter 3 he discusses the six C-words, curfew, cash, car, cohorts, conflict, and consequences. He gives detailed explanations of how he and his wife handled these with their teens. I found these extremely helpful. As times have changed since the writing of this book, I am curious how they would handle cell phones and computers. Are there any articles concerning this?
