Question
Our 4.5 y.o. grandson has recently started having issues with rage and uncontrollable tantrums. Today, in the midst of one of his outbursts (tired and angry about having to leave a fun-filled day at our State Fair) he stated he wanted to "shoot his father in the head and all over his body". He has also reverted back to kicking, screaming, hitting and biting when he does not get his way. His parents have enrolled in a child rearing class at our church but are only 2 weeks in. They emptied his bedroom 1 week ago but have seen no change as of yet. He is otherwise loving, tenderhearted and very bright plus he behaves well at preschool and church. Is this behavior "normal"?
