Question
I'm having a technology issue with my almost 13 year old. We have placed guidelines and restrictions on her computer use but she continues to abuse her privileges. She went all summer with no computer use from a previous infraction and we are 7 days into the school year (because she needs it for some school assignments) and the shenanigans have started already.
Unfortunately I'm not tech savvy enough to keep up with her. She is able to circumvent everything I do. I've tried sitting right next to her watching her every move but I'm single parenting it most evenings and that becomes very inconvenient. She may be accessing some of these things via her friends' phones as she does not have one but I realize I can't control everything. Any advice?
