Question
Hello!
Our eldest daughter started throwing wild tantrums when we put her to bed. Since 1.5 week after we go through our usual bedtime routine and when we are set to leave her room, she jumps out of bed and "demands" that we tuck her in again. We told her that we tuck her in once and that she should go back to bed. But she refuses, after which we leave the room and she screams her lungs out until she gets tired of it (it has been as long as an hour). My husband and I did not know what to make of it so we tried to stand our ground and stick to the bedtime routine and leave the room even though she throws a wild tantrum. Can you please advise if this is a good way to handle it? Any directions would be much appreciated.
