Question
This is a follow up to my question. Four year old will not play by herself.
I absolutely realize I need to tell her instead of encouragen or ask! My hope is to have a little more analytical response. She will go to play for about 5 minutes and then come and ask for help or I am constantly having to tell her again to go play. Is there a way to avoid this? Or will she over time get the hang of it? How much play time should I expect from her daily?
Also on the flip side of this I feel as though I am disciplining more than loving. What are some practical ways that we show our children love without giving them attention all the time.
I know these questions may sound silly but I have two children 4 and 2 and I want to make sure my love is as equal to my discipline. Thank you so much.
