Question
When my 6yr old son gets really upset with himself, he has started saying “I hate myself and I wish I was never born.”
My son is the middle child of four who is always in trouble. We use the ticket system and he has lost all his tickets a few times since we have started. I’m really trying to give him positive feedback too. I feel like he has a low self-esteem and feels angry at himself that he can’t behave. This breaks my heart. I’m trying to remind him that he is a precious gift from God. What do you think I should do?
