Masculinity

Question

My husband and I I have a 14 year old son. We have raised him in a Biblically centered home. My husband is a wonderful father to our son. He has always made it a point to try to take him on camping trips, golfing, fishing and other activities but our son never has any interest in doing anything my husband suggests. As he has transitioned into adolescence, we have been concerned with effeminate mannerisms. He is 14 and has not yet gone through puberty. He is not interested in sports. He has a hard time making friends with other guys and tends to be friends with girls. When his mannerisms tend to be overly feminine we try to correct him and teach him the masculine way to behave. My husband and I are about to worry ourselves to death over this. We pray about this often. Should we keep trying to correct him and teach him more masculine mannerisms or do we stop worrying and leave it alone? Thanks! - concerned
