Question
Dear Parent Guru,
My daughter, thirteen now, is our only girl, and she has 3 brothers. She is by far our hardest child to parent. She is strong willed, argumentative, lazy, and completely distracted. She has a great sense of humor, creative, talented in the arts, and is very respectful in school and anywhere else, but as far as focus and drive, she is lacking both. She continually looses items, struggles in school, and is very immature. My husband and I are not sure how to deal with her. We have helped her in the past with homework and grades but she still struggles with those as well. Her constant misplacing items is an issue as well! We are huge fans of your books and newspaper articles, but we are not sure where to start. Help!
