Question
We have a two year old boy (turned 2 in March) and he is always on the go. So much so that we don't go out to restaurants or a lot of other public places because he just wants to run off. And then scream because he just wants down when we hold him or use the stroller. The problem is we also have two daughters (10 & 8) and they have activities, sporting events, and so on that we have to attend. We're not going to keep them home all day just because he's a handful. When my husband is home, a lot of times one of us will stay home with him and the other goes to the activities. I refuse to let him down in stores, and most places because he does run off. Suggestions? Discipline? I just don't know what to do to make him stay and be complacent.
