Question
Have wanted to start training my now 20 month old for a while now, the problem is 90% of the time when you tell her to go on the potty she throws a fit. I have read toilet training with out tantrums and I am read to start but she is not going to sit on the potty when told with out crying and throwing a fit which I know is not going lead to success.
Today she peed and pooped on the potty and I want to move forward but not sure how to proceed with her defiant nature.
She seemed to be proud of herself today and enjoyed brining her bowls to the big potty,flushing, and putting her little potty back together. I know she is ready but resistant to do what I clearly want her to do.
