Question
37 yr old daughter had massive heart attack in car with husband & 9.75 yr old son....she died several hours later without regaining consciousness. My grandson seems to be doing ok....returned after five days to 4th grade in school where she had been principal. Lots of tears over the five days of funeral, etc. says everyone at school says he is the emotionally strongest kid in the building. He has good dad. Paternal gmom picking him up everyday from school. I live an hour away & see him at least every weekend. People ask if we are going to see therapist. I'm an RN & not inclined for therapy for children who seem to be processing a tragedy ok. Your thoughts??
