Our eight-year-old daughter used to get along really well with our son who is now three, but lately it’s gotten really bad. Sometime she says she wishes he was still a baby because now he “annoys her”. She gets really angry and upset at the smallest things he does wrong and corrects him in a harsh tone. I’m not sure what to do to help them get along better. He is a sweet boy, but is picking up on her attitude towards him and mirrors her response. There are no issues between my oldest daughters (12.5 years and 10 years) and our son. But sometimes our 8 year old also struggles to get along with her older sisters too.
