Question
What is the appropriate reaction/action or punishment for a 2.5 year old that is throwing a tantrum and then it escalates into hitting or pushing myself or his nanny or his 5 year old sister?
Our nanny has been trying time outs in his crib. It doesn't work well. And he did climb out of it one time. I came in last week from outside with him screaming and her holding him in the crib and he was just a mess crying with tears and snot. I don't agree that the crib is the best place for a time out, but need to provide her with direction.
