Question
My 8 year old son doesn't use his time wisely at school to get his papers done. So when most of the other kids never have homework, my son does quite often. I'm preparing to start a weekly chart with him (I've just finished your Well-Behaved Child book) using at school & at home items. But I'm not sure how to approach this. Is not using his time wisely at school a misbehavior? Or is the time he loses by having to sit and do his homework punishment enough? I think I'm more concerned that his teachers might have different views on using his time wisely and I don't want him to get constantly marked off for this. Or maybe that would be ok - but then I might need to do daily charts instead?
