Question
Hello- For the past 2 years, our 8 yo son has been in the same classroom as another boy and they have become friends (at school and play sports together). Our son has recently told us that this boy will sometimes tease him and call him names. But, my son says that he just ignores his friend when he says this and that he still wants to be friends with him because they have very similar interests. We have discussed positive friendships with our son, but I am wondering if we should get more involved in the relationship via the teacher or his parents (we are friends with the other boy's family).
