Question
I've read "The Well-Behaved Child" and am starting to use some of the tools with my HM 9yo son. My problem is that when my son is sent to his bedroom for the day as a consequence he often comes out because he says he "has to get something" or "has to ask me something" like when or what is for dinner or "has to tell me" something he's thinking about. Just wondering how this should be handled?
