Question
We are using the ticket system with our four year old son. Right now we are working on him being obedient and doing what we say to do when we say to do it. We run into problems when there is a time crunch to leave the house and he refuses to do something as asked. Can he lose more than one ticket for the same infraction? Ie. refusing to put shoes on even after he’s been told he lost a ticket. Often we do take more than one ticket away if he isn’t obedient the first time; he’s never lost more than two at a time because he knows that on three lost he is in his room for the rest of the day.
My other question is bedtime. He is so disobedient and whiney at bedtime. Can he lose tickets from the next day for misbehavior or should I be approaching bedtime nonsense with a different set of consequences all together?
