Question
Hi there, my 27 month old is quiet during mass. We don’t sit in the pews, but instead set up a corner in the back of the church where he can color, play with his trains, etc. We sit on the floor next to him. This has worked wonderfully, and we are able to listen to the sermon while he entertains himself. My question is, how long should this last? Is there a certain age in which he will learn to adjust to sitting and listening because you have to? Like mentioned, he is very quiet during mass, but I just want to make sure I’m not hindering him from independence. Thank you!
