Question
I need help!! My 19 month old has recently found her "voice". She is screaming this horrible high pitched scream when she can't communicate. Like a typical toddler she is quite bossy and gets upset when she doesn't get her way. But the screaming also starts when her 4 year old brother comes around. He is very sweet with her but almost too sweet. He is constantly touching her and messing with her. I'm trying to teach him how to give her personal space and telling him when she screams that is her way of saying stop. I'm just at my wits end with the screaming!!! So two issues at hand...how do I handle the screaming? Is it too early for time out? And how to I handle my 4 year old in this situation?
