Question
We have two boys (10 and 8). Our older son is generally passive and doesn't start problems, and the younger one is constantly doing whatever he can to annoy and cause problems, and it usually ends in a fight. My husband and I apply the Do Not Disturb the Family Peace method in our house, but we are having a hard time counseling our older son on exactly how to handle his difficult brother, without letting the younger brother get away with his behavior, or "rolling over" to his dominant brother, just to avoid the fight. We understand that this will be a valuable tool to use for life, but how can we more specifically guide our 10 year old boy, during this very frustrating time?
