Question
Okay. We have an 19month old boy we have just started potty training N75. We have read the Potty Training Without Tantrums, and searched the site through other questions, and we're still fuzzy on the "gate" rules.
When the potty bell rings, we take of his undies (because he's not able to do that himself yet), and put him in his gated area saying, "when you go peepee or poopoo in your potty, you can come out."
Here's our question: Does he stay in the gated area until he goes IN THE POTTY? Meaning that if he pees or poops on the floor, he stays in the gated area until he goes in the potty (indefinitely)?
