Question
Two months ago, I started staying home with my 3.5 year old son. Since then, he has started refusing to poop. This makes the entire family miserable - he's extra difficult, only wants to lie on his bed and not do anything, if I take him anywhere he begs to go home, he's extra clingy, and we constantly have to keep cleaning his bottom because he poops (just enough to make his bottom dirty). We've tried everything - small potty or big potty, MiraLax, rewards, consequences, talking about it, reading him books about it, etc. It's become our main focus and I'm at a breaking point.
