Question
I am a grandmother of 2 wonderful kids- an almost 5 year old and a 21 month old. The problem is his mom and dad are not on the same discipline page. Dad undermines whatever mom says. He gives in to the 5 year old, who has learned to cry to get what he wants. He is not consistent and he yells a lot. The five year old does not act like that with anyone else- just his dad. Is there anything I can do, as a grandma, to help this situation. It is getting to the point that I don't like them coming over as a family anymore.
