Wild Monkey at Naptime

Question

I try to make a regular one hour quiet time for my 3 year old daughter every afternoon but things usually end negatively. She has, from birth, been a high needs kiddo and playing by herself seems to be a challenge. A number of things may happen: she'll destroy whatever she has in the room (tear books apart), pee/poops on the floor, kicks and screams at the door, comes out several times (I say almost nothing and put her back), takes several stored items out of the closet which shouldn't be played with, and always comes up with "something" she needs to show me. She has books, legos, and a few bears in her room to play with. How can I successfully get her to stay in her room safely?
