Question
Can you give me some tips on transitioning my son into his toddler bed? He's 30 months and always been a great sleeper. He's doing well with sleeping in his toddler bed at night, but naps are a disaster. Theoretically I don't mind him playing and not sleeping, provided I'm getting a break, but he is destroying his room. I've taken out all of the fun items in his room, but there's still plenty of fun to be had! Pulling clothes out of drawers, destroying his blinds, one day he even pooped in his little potty then smeared it everywhere. On top of that, he's exhausted due to not taking a nap and his behavior is terrible all day long. It's only been a few days, but I'm ready to put him back in the crib! Is there anything I can do, or should I give it more time?
