4 yo Doesn't Want to Go to School

Question

Hi Gurus,
Our 4-year-old has been very upset about going to school (pre-k) lately - tonight she was crying and saying she doesn't want to go to school, ever ever ever. She attends an after-school program one day a week as well to which she usually says she doesn't want to go (but says she had a good time when we pick her up). The main issues are that she misses us, and that she is scared she will get in trouble for taking too long in the bathroom (apparently she dawdled on the potty during lunch and was told if she didn't hurry she wouldn't have time to eat lunch). Last week (a half-week back after a week and a half off) we agreed to not send her to afterschool on the condition that she would go without complaint the rest of the year. I recognize this as a mistake - it was right before school, everyone was frazzled, and we caved to get her out the door. How do we correct our course and help her calm down? I gave her a rosary and she's using it to tell God to make it so she doesn't have to go to school. Thanks as always!
