Question
We have a question concerning our 4 and a half year old daughter. She is constantly having to going to the bathroom. The majority of the time she does have to pee. Sometimes it is so frequent that she will finish going potty and be back in the bathroom within a minute. This behavior seems to increase during times of discipline (timeout in her room), during afternoon quiet times, and after being put to bed for the night.
We have taken her to the pediatrician and they have ruled out a UTI. Given that she can sleep through the night with minimal interruption, I don't believe this to be a medical issue.
What is your advice on how we should handle this situation?
