My 9yo son in 3rd grade has always had behavior and socialization problems. Until the 2nd grade these were written off as typical "boy" behavior. In 2nd grade, his teacher suggested I speak to my pediatrician about his "attention" and "obsession" issues. A visit to a neurologist and psychologist did not lead to an ADD diagnosis. Behavior problems have persisted despite using many of your techniques; now we are seeing big issues with peers, and grades and effort in school are dropping. Autism and Aspergers have now been suggested. What is your position on Aspergers? Does it just take longer to turn the tide?
