Do you have suggestions on ways to keep communication open with 16 year old daughters? She is generally a good student, loves church and volunteer work, dance and sports. I am very proud of her, but she's at times very distant especially when it seems something has upset her. We used to talk about problems, but she seems to be shutting me out. Perhaps this is just normal for her age as she grows up.
