Question
I am the parent of a brilliant 8th grader who makes poor grades due to lack of motivation and follow through. I'm tired of pushing him to no avail but I don't want to give him permission to be a slacker. He took the ACT in 7th grade and made a 23. He's more than capable of making A's and B's. However, he constantly has missed and lost assignments (some that I know were completed but he just forgot to turn in). He doesn't write his assignments down and is extremely disorganized.
