Question
What are your thoughts on asking if a family has guns in the house (and asking how they are locked up) before letting my children go over to play?
Also, what are your thoughts on insisting that children who come to our house follow our mealtime rules (no chewing with mouth open, please/thank you when being served, etc...)? What should we do if they don't follow the mealtime rules and the other rules of the house? At what point would it be appropriate to tell a parent that we don't want their child at our house because they misbehave or act rudely?
