Question
How do I help my children play? It seems that my children don't know how to play properly. When they are outside to play they have soccer balls, jump ropes, sand boxes, a play house and tree house but, they don't use those items for what they are meant for. I rarely look out and see my children building sand castles, playing soccer, jumping rope. Instead they are throwing sand, dumping sand all over the yard, tying the jump rope to all sorts of items(or people for that matter) to drag around. This drives me crazy because things end up broken and people end up getting hurt. I feel like I should be able to send my 7,6,5 and 4 year olds out to play and not have to constantly watch and intervene.
