Question
Hi,
I'm currently traveling with my 3 year old. We traveled over a 6 hours time difference by plane, drove for two days, changed 3 houses without her father, who she's very attached to. She's been such a champ. hardly any tantrums, she listens and adapts. When we return home I would like to reward her with a gift but i'm unsure if that is a good idea. My husband says we should reward her with hugs and verbal praise not material.
what would be the appropriate move?
thank you
