Question
Dinah, She will be 5 in a month, she can do a good job when she's taking the time and thinking/looking at what she's doing. She just rushes through majority of the time. We have gone through a few toilet inserts with no help. Yes it prevented her from purposely lowering herself down into the bowl but also made it difficult for her to wipe herself as the space was smaller, they were a nuisance for adults as well. She is frequently irritated and itching herself due to her wiping skills. At this point she's been shown so many times that she really should not be having problems doing this, she just keeps choosing her old habit way of doing it and being careless. Should I just let her do it however she wants to and deal with being uncomfortable because of it, or should I be checking when she's done?
