Question
My oldest son (7) just returned from a friends home to play outside. He was playing with some salamanders, and having a blast. When our family left, our friend messaged us to inform us she found the pieces of a salamander in her birdbath, most likely from our son's hand. We plan on informing him of the importance of God's creation and respect for it, and we understand that he's probably just exploring, but we see other times where empathy is lacking - so we want to nip all the sociopathic-leaning in the bud the right way. What should we do? Should we be concerned similar to the 18-year-old and the mice (another q&a I found here)
