Question
Any advice for a wife whose husband is not on board with these ideas, other than the obvious marriage counseling. He doesn't actively discourage the techniques but I am continually reminded that our kids are "good kids" and I am being entirely too hard on them. My husband travels a lot so I do the best I can when he isn't home. But as soon as he is home all bets are off. They know this and manipulate the situation. We have way too many activities (in my opinion) that he has adamantly encouraged, going somewhere every night. Most nights the chores don't get done and I feel they are too tired. I don't want to start a war but I am a stay-at-home mom who has to deal with the fallout.
