Question
My seven year old 1st grade son's teacher has requested all parents to read with their kids every night for 20 minutes. My son complains, is distracted, doesn't try hard and makes the time very difficult. I dread the 20 minutes every night and obviously my son is not enjoying it either. How could I approach this situation to make it more enjoyable for both of us?
