Question
I recently read John's book "The Well Behaved Child" and have a question about how to best implement the principles in the book. I understand that I need to first and foremost use Alpha Parent/Leadership speech and have already started to put that into place. My question is related to tickets/charts vs the Agony/Godfather Principle. My daughters are 7 1/2 and 9. By far the biggest disciplinary issue I have with them is failure to do what they are told, the first time. I'm a little unclear as to what approach I should use first. They are not completely out of control but I realize I need to nip this one in the bud.
