Question
My 4 year old stepson has entered a phase where he is constantly talking about toys he wants to buy. We of course do not buy him whatever he wants, but it frustrates us that he does not appreciate the bounty of toys he has, but can you really teach gratitude to a 4 year old? Aside from keeping the purchases to a minimum, any thoughts on keeping children grounded in this materialistic world?
