Question
My husband and I are curious about some strange behavior from our 13 month old. She usually goes to daycare while we work, but occasionally one of us will stay home with her. If I am home with her, when my husband arrives after work she is all smiles and happy to see him and then goes back to playing or whatever. But if my husband has stayed home with her for the day, and I walk in from work, all hell breaks loose. She throws a huge fit, arching her back, and screaming while flailing around on the ground. We both try to pick her up and calm her down, but she is just totally crazy. My husband says she is calm and quiet until I arrive. Yikes! (Also, this fit does not happen when I pick her up from daycare) Why such a difference in her response? And what should we do?
